The enacted ordinance revises Philadelphia’s on-street parking rules, including how drivers pay at meters and kiosks, how motorcycle and accessible parking spaces are designated, and how parking violations are penalized. It also transfers responsibility for issuing and managing resident, temporary, and contractor parking permits from city departments to the Philadelphia Parking Authority and updates permit requirements.

Amending Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Traffic Code," to revise various provisions related to the on-street parking system, all under certain terms and conditions.
