This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s Plumbing Code, including rules for construction-worker toilet facilities, water and sewer pipe separation, backflow protection, approved pipe materials, and private sewer and storm-sewer easements. It also preserves a single-stack plumbing option for certain existing and new buildings and updates storm-drainage requirements, affecting property owners, contractors, and developers who install or modify plumbing systems in Philadelphia.

Amending various provisions of Subcode "P" of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "The Philadelphia Plumbing Code," by making additional additions, deletions and amendments to the City's adoption of the 2018 edition of the "International Plumbing Code," as published by the International Code Council, all under certain terms and conditions.
