This enacted ordinance authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to acquire full or partial interests in specified parcels along the Delaware River and in the former Kensington & Tacony Railroad bed. The acquisitions may be made through purchase, donation, dedication, condemnation, or other agreements, for developing, expanding, operating, and maintaining public parks for recreation; the City Solicitor may review and approve the necessary documents.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to acquire fee simple title, or a lesser interest in real estate, by purchase, dedication, donation, condemnation, agreement in lieu of condemnation, or otherwise, in parcels of land along the Delaware River and in the bed of the former Kensington & Tacony Railroad, under certain terms and conditions.
