This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s rules on prohibited conduct to bar people from using consumer fireworks after 9 p.m., unless the use follows specified Fire Code requirements. It exempts licensed fireworks displays and allows consumer fireworks on federal holidays, among other listed exemptions; the ordinance took effect immediately and provides for penalties under the amended code.

Amending Section 10-403 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Prohibited Conduct," by prohibiting the use of consumer fireworks and providing certain penalties, under certain terms and conditions.
