Philadelphia City Council adopted a resolution condemning President Donald Trump’s nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court during the 2020 presidential election. It called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the U.S. Senate to delay consideration of the nomination until after the presidential inauguration in January.
