The enacted ordinance approves Philadelphia Gas Works’ Fiscal Year 2022 capital budget of up to $147,479,000 for spending from September 1, 2021, through August 31, 2022. It requires PGW to follow specified capital-program rules and limits spending on three $250,000 safety, reliability, and load-growth items until the Philadelphia Gas Commission gives written approval; it also acknowledges PGW’s revised capital-budget forecast for fiscal years 2023 through 2027.

Approving the Fiscal Year 2022 Capital Budget providing for expenditures for the capital purposes of the Philadelphia Gas Works (including the supplying of funds in connection therewith) subject to certain constraints and conditions, and acknowledging receipt of the Revised Forecast of Capital Budgets for Fiscal Years 2023 through 2027.
