This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s rules for self-service laundries. It removes the limit that restricted a self-service laundry to using no more than 2,500 square feet of a premises, while retaining requirements for posted owner or operator contact information, a public telephone, dryers that can be opened from inside and outside, and limits on operating hours and exterior lighting.

Amending Chapter 9-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Service and Other Businesses," to modify the requirements to operate a self-service laundry; all under certain terms and conditions.
