This enacted ordinance creates a Mixed Income Neighborhoods zoning overlay in specified Philadelphia areas. For residential projects with 10 or more dwelling units or 20 or more sleeping units in the overlay, it requires affordable units, allows limited alternatives such as nearby affordable units or a payment to the City, and requires developers to submit marketing, occupancy, and economic opportunity plans; it also changes related zoning and development bonus rules.

Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending certain provisions of Chapter 14-500, entitled "Overlay Zoning Districts," by creating the "/MIH, Mixed Income Neighborhoods Overlay District"; by revising certain provisions of Chapter 14-702, entitled "Floor Area, Height, and Dwelling Unit Density Bonuses"; and by making related changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
