The enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s zoning rules for parking and loading at historically designated properties. It eliminates those requirements for historic or historically contributing portions of buildings, and reduces the requirements by 50% for expansions or other portions, which may meet the remaining requirement through off-site parking under specified conditions.
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending certain provisions of Chapter 14-800, entitled "Parking and Loading," pertaining to parking requirements for uses in historically designated properties, all under certain terms and conditions.
