The adopted resolution proposes amending Philadelphia’s Home Rule Charter to expand the Zoning Board of Adjustment from five to seven mayoral appointees, subject to confirmation by City Council. It would also require the board to include people with specified professional expertise and at least two recognized community organization leaders, with the proposed amendment submitted to Philadelphia voters.
