This enacted amendment increases from 40 to 42 the maximum number of contribution agreements the Department may enter into for each qualifying tax year beginning January 1, 2019. The agreements support contributions to community development corporations, nonprofits working on healthy food initiatives, and nonprofit intermediaries, provided the Commerce Director certifies that a qualifying grant program has at least $500,000 available.

Amending Subsection 19-2604(6) of The Philadelphia Code ("Credit for Contributions to Community Development Corporations, Nonprofit Organizations Engaged in Developing and Implementing Healthy Food Initiatives and Nonprofit Intermediaries") to clarify the number of contribution agreements that may be entered into, all under certain terms and conditions.
