This enacted bill revised the boundaries of Philadelphia’s 10 City Council districts and set approximate populations for each district. The new boundaries applied to Council members elected for terms beginning in January 2024 and later, while leaving the districts and offices of Council members serving through the prior term unchanged.
Amending Chapter 20-500 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Councilmanic Districts," by revising the boundaries of the Councilmanic Districts, under certain terms and conditions.
