This enacted measure amended Philadelphia’s residential eviction diversion program. While the City was operating a mandatory pre-filing program, landlords had to enroll, notify tenants of their diversion rights, and participate in good faith for at least 30 days before having a lawful basis to evict, with an exception for imminent threats of harm. The amendment set the program’s expiration date as June 30, 2024.

Amending Chapter 9-800 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Landlord and Tenant," to modify requirements and authorizations related to the City's residential eviction diversion program, including associated changes to the landlord and tenant relationship, and to make certain technical changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
