The enacted ordinance creates the Yorktown Neighborhood Overlay District for residentially zoned lots between Girard Avenue, 13th Street, Cecil B. Moore Avenue, and 9th Street. It sets building-height limits based on nearby buildings or existing zoning rules, limits buildings 25 feet or shorter to two stories, and prohibits roof decks and roof-deck access structures in the district.
To amend Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by revising certain provisions of Chapter 14-500, entitled "Overlay Zoning Districts," by creating the "/YOD, Yorktown Neighborhood Overlay District," all under certain terms and conditions.
