This enacted measure adds protections to Philadelphia’s Health Code for people seeking or receiving reproductive health care, providers, and people who help them, including support with transportation, lodging, funding, or information. It prohibits certain abusive lawsuits based on reproductive health care that is lawful in Pennsylvania and allows affected people to sue for damages, legal fees, and other relief.
Amending Title 6 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Health Code," to establish legal protections related to entities or individuals seeking, providing, or assisting others to obtain reproductive services, all under certain terms and conditions.
