This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s parking rules to prohibit parking semitrailers and truck tractors on public streets in the Sixth Council District when the Department of Streets determines that the parking would interfere with the safe and efficient use of the street by pedestrians or traffic. The ordinance took effect immediately.
Amending Section 12-919 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "On-Street Parking of Boats, Motor Homes, Truck Campers, Semitrailers, Truck Tractors, and Vending Carts," to provide prohibitions on semitrailer and truck tractor parking in the Sixth District of Council, all under certain terms and conditions.
