This enacted ordinance creates the Brewerytown-Sharswood/Celestial Community overlay subarea within a specified area of Philadelphia. For residentially zoned lots in that area, it sets building-height limits based on nearby buildings, with a maximum of 35 feet or the height of most buildings on the block in certain cases, and prohibits roof decks and roof-deck access structures.
To amend Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by revising certain provisions of Chapter 14-500, entitled "Overlay Zoning Districts," by creating the "Brewerytown-Sharswood Overlay Subarea," all under certain terms and conditions.
