This enacted bill amended Philadelphia’s rules for newsstands by changing the products they may sell. Newsstands may sell items including SEPTA Key cards, bus tickets, hand sanitizer, face masks, toiletries, non-prescription pain relievers, flowers, health products, beauty aids, Philadelphia sports apparel, and tickets to sporting events, concerts, museums, the Philadelphia Zoo, and other local attractions, subject to applicable licensing or permitting requirements.
Amending Section 9-212 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Newsstands," by modifying the list of products that may be sold from newsstands, all under certain terms and conditions.
