This enacted ordinance authorizes the Philadelphia Housing Authority to acquire properties in the area between 28th and 29th Streets and Cumberland and York Streets in Strawberry Mansion. The properties may be acquired by purchase, deed in lieu of condemnation, or condemnation for a project involving housing and mixed uses; any displaced residents or businesses must receive relocation assistance required by law, and the project must follow nondiscrimination requirements.

Authorizing the Philadelphia Housing Authority to acquire fee simple title to certain properties located in the vicinity of 28th Street to the east, 29th Street to the west, Cumberland Street to the north, and York Street to the south, under certain terms and conditions.
