The enacted bill approves an amendment adding $163,204,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery funding to Philadelphia’s 2022–2026 Consolidated Plan and 2022–2023 Annual Action Plan. The funds are intended to support long-term recovery from Hurricane Ida, including homeowner and rental repairs, infrastructure restoration, mitigation, business grants, housing counseling, workforce training, public services, and planning.
