The enacted bill adds the intersection of 17th Street and Washington Avenue to the locations where approved automated red-light enforcement systems may be used. The systems must be approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the intersection must be designated through an agreement between the system administrator and the Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation.

Amending Chapter 12-3000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Use Of An Automated Red Light Enforcement System To Prevent Red Light Violations," by authorizing the installation of red light enforcement systems at the intersection of 17th Street & Washington Avenue, all under certain terms and conditions.
