This enacted bill authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to enter into a sublease with the Philadelphia Municipal Authority for the City to use about 45,837 square feet at 216 N. Broad Street. The space may be used for a family shelter, emergency response services, government offices, or another agreed-upon government purpose, with an initial occupancy term of up to 15 years and a possible 10-year renewal.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement with the Philadelphia Municipal Authority, as sublandlord, for use by the City, as subtenant, of a portion of the premises located at 216 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, all under certain terms and conditions.
