This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s rules for commercial activities on streets by creating the Northeast District for Sidewalk Vending in the 6th Councilmanic District. It permits up to eight sidewalk-vending locations—four on Cottman Avenue and four on Bustleton Avenue—and gives priority in selecting vendors to applicants with more years of licensed vending operations in the district.

Amending Chapter 9-200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Commercial Activities on Streets," by designating a neighborhood business district in the 6th Councilmanic District for authorized sidewalk vending and making technical changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
