The enacted ordinance prohibits parking a motor vehicle with a sun screening device on any public highway in Philadelphia. A violation carries a $100 civil penalty, but it must be dismissed if the vehicle had a valid exemption certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation when the ticket was issued.

Amending Chapter 12-900 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parking Regulations and Penalties," by providing for parking prohibitions for motor vehicles with sun screening devices, and for penalties and enforcement, all under certain terms and conditions.
