This enacted bill changes the rules for removing members of Philadelphia’s Citizens Police Oversight Commission and allows the Commission’s Board of Commissioners to suspend a member in certain circumstances. It also clarifies that the governing body consists of nine Board members and updates related terms and procedures in the Philadelphia Code.

Amending Chapter 21-1200 of the Philadelphia Code, entitled "Citizens Police Oversight Commission," to modify the procedure by which members of the Citizens Police Oversight Commission may be removed, providing a procedure to suspend members, and clarifying terms in that Chapter, all under certain terms and conditions.
