This enacted measure changes Philadelphia’s permit-parking rules. It sets annual application fees of $75 per vehicle and $50 per motorcycle for resident permits, allows up to three permits per residence, provides a fee waiver for one vehicle for eligible low-income individuals, and establishes temporary guest-parking permits lasting one, 15, 30, or 60 days with fees from $7 to $300. It also limits how many temporary permits can be issued to a vehicle and allows future fee increases tied to the Philadelphia-area consumer price index.

Amending Chapter 12-2700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Permit Parking Districts," by extending the authorized duration of temporary parking permits and setting new permit application fees, all under certain terms and conditions.
