This enacted ordinance limits certain commercial establishments on both sides of Ogontz Avenue between Haines Street and Cheltenham Avenue from opening to the public between midnight and 6 a.m. It covers businesses that sell goods for off-premises use, including some food establishments, but excludes restaurants with liquor licenses, drive-through-only food establishments, and vehicle fueling stations. Violations carry a $500 fine for each offense per day, and the restriction expires December 31, 2026.

Amending Chapter 9-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Service and Other Businesses," by adding a new section regulating the hours of operation of certain establishments and providing for penalties within an area bounded by Ogontz Avenue, between Haines Street and Cheltenham Avenue, all under certain terms and conditions.
