The enacted ordinance authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to acquire all or part of the City’s property interests in 2444 Island Avenue and 7401 Wheeler Street from the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, Philadelphia Land Bank, and Philadelphia Housing and Development Corporation. The acquisitions may use several legal methods, and the City Solicitor must review and approve the documents needed to complete them.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to acquire a fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest in all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land from the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, the Philadelphia Land Bank and the Philadelphia Housing and Development Corporation, all under certain terms and conditions.
