The enacted ordinance prohibits parking boats, motor homes, house coaches, house trailers, truck campers, recreational cargo trailers, and recreational trailers on public streets or City property in Philadelphia’s First, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, and Tenth Councilmanic Districts for more than three hours or the posted legal parking limit, whichever is shorter. A person found liable for violating this rule may be charged a $150 civil penalty, in addition to applicable costs and fees.

Amending Chapter 12-900 ("Parking Regulations and Penalties") and Chapter 12-2800 ("Administrative Adjudication of Parking Violations") of The Philadelphia Code to add prohibitions and penalties related to parking certain large vehicles, including boats, motor homes, house coaches, house trailers, truck campers, recreational cargo trailers, and recreational trailers, under certain terms and conditions.
