This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s rules for Keystone Opportunity Zones to allow additional extensions of certain tax benefits for specified parcels, including properties in the Naval Business Center area. The extensions apply only to parcels approved by Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development and may provide exemptions, abatements, or credits for sales and use, personal income, corporate net income, and capital stock franchise taxes for businesses and residents on those parcels.
Amending Chapter 19-3200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Keystone Opportunity Zone, Economic Development District, and Strategic Development Area," to provide for additional extensions of certain benefits, under certain terms and conditions.
