The enacted ordinance amends zoning rules in Philadelphia’s Ninth Council District, including designated Commercial Review Areas. It requires special exceptions for convenience sales, vehicle and vehicular equipment sales and services, and event assembly facilities; continues limits on certain facade materials for new construction; and prohibits accessory dwelling units in RSA-5 and CMX-1 districts except in qualifying historic structures.
Amending Section 14-520 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "/NDO, Ninth District Overlay District," by reorganizing existing requirements and requiring Special Exceptions for certain uses in designated areas, all under certain terms and conditions.
