This enacted bill authorizes Philadelphia’s Commissioner of Public Property to enter into a lease for all or part of the City-owned underground Broad Street Sub-Concourse North next to the Municipal Services Building at 1401 John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Under the lease, an operator would maintain and run the space to provide services to the community and unhoused people, subject to agreed terms and review by the City Solicitor.

Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a lease agreement for the use of all or a portion of the City-owned underground area, commonly known as Broad Street Sub-Concourse North, that neighbors the basement of the Municipal Services Building located at 1401 John F Kennedy Boulevard, under which the operator will maintain and operate the space to provide services to the community and unhoused persons, under certain terms and conditions.
