This enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s sidewalk café rules to allow additional sidewalk café locations in a specified area of Northeast Philadelphia, the East Falls Neighborhood Commercial Area Overlay District, and the Manayunk Special Services District. Cafés in these locations still require license approval and must meet the section’s conditions.

Amending Section 9-208 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Sidewalk Cafés,” to authorize additional locations for sidewalk cafés, all under certain terms and conditions.
