This enacted bill changes Philadelphia’s parking tax rules by excluding bus loading facilities from the definition of a taxable parking facility as of May 1, 2026. It affects operators or owners of facilities used for bus loading by removing those facilities from the scope of the Parking Tax.

Amending Chapter 19-1200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parking Tax", to amend the definition of parking facility to exclude bus loading facilities from imposition of the Parking Tax, under certain terms and conditions.
