This enacted ordinance changes Philadelphia’s zoning rules for the Transit Improvement Bonus. It expands the types of public transit improvements that can qualify, revises how much extra floor area or building height a project may receive, and reduces or eliminates required parking for qualifying projects in certain overlay districts. The changes mainly affect developers and properties seeking zoning bonuses near public transit facilities.

To amend Title 14 of the Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by revising certain provisions relating to the Transit Improvement Bonus, to clarify its parameters and revise the bonus structure, and by making related changes, all under certain terms and conditions.
