This lapsed bill would have defined an automated parking garage as a structure using mechanical or other automated systems to park or retrieve more than three vehicles.

Amending Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Traffic Code," by adding provisions regulating the parking of motorcycles at metered parking spaces within certain portions of the area generally bounded by Front street, Pine street, Eleventh street and Bainbridge street, and by providing civil penalties for violations of such provisions to be imposed pursuant to Chapter 12-2800, entitled "Administrative Adjudication of Parking Violations," all under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted law prohibits skateboarding on public property unless the use is authorized, with exceptions including public roads, highways, bicycle or skateboard paths, certain sidewalks, and Recreation Department facilities governed by their own rules.
