This enacted measure regulates motorcycle parking in metered spaces on streets in two designated areas of Center City.
Amending Title 12 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Traffic Code," by adding provisions regulating the parking of motorcycles at metered parking spaces within certain portions of the area generally bounded by Front street, Pine street, Eleventh street and Bainbridge street, and by providing civil penalties for violations of such provisions to be imposed pursuant to Chapter 12-2800, entitled "Administrative Adjudication of Parking Violations," all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted ordinance amended Section 2 of a 1999 ordinance concerning the vacation of Eighteenth Street between Cambria Street and Indiana Avenue and the reservation of a right-of-way for drainage and water-main purposes.
Amending Section 2 of an Ordinance (Bill No. 980717) approved March 23, 1999, entitled "An Ordinance authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 128 of an area bounded by Cambria street, Nineteenth street, Indiana avenue and Seventeenth street by striking from the City Plan and vacating Eighteenth street from Cambria street to Indiana avenue, and reserving and placing on the City Plan a certain right-of-way for drainage purposes and water main purposes, under certain terms and conditions," therein.

The ordinance requires contractors taking over food and beverage, hotel, health care, janitorial, building maintenance, or security service contracts in Philadelphia to retain eligible nonsupervisory workers from the previous contractor for a 90-day transition period.
Enacting a new Chapter 9-2300 of the Philadelphia Code entitled "Protection of Displaced Contract Workers", and amending Section 19-2602, entitled "Licenses" to require that all contractors awarded contracts for the performance of food and beverage, hotel service, health care, janitorial or building maintenance services within the City of Philadelphia retain certain non-supervisory employees of the previous contractor for a 90-day transition employment period during which period retained employees may not be terminated except for cause, and to require that said employees be provided with various other job security protections, providing penalties for non-compliance, including but not limited to revocation of the business privilege license of violators, and granting remedies to aggrieved parties; all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted measure requires Philadelphia businesses that use video surveillance systems for security or theft prevention to keep recordings for 30 days after their initial use, or for a longer period set by the Police Department.
Amending Title10 of the Philadelphia Code, entitled "Regulation of Individual Conduct and Activity" requiring the retention of video surveillance tapes in commercial businesses for thirty days after use of those tapes and regulating the quality of tapes.

Amending Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "The Philadelphia Building Construction and Occupancy Code," by amending Subcode PM (The Philadelphia Property Maintenance Code), by amending Section PM-307.0 entitled "Unsafe and Unfit Structures and Equipment" and Section PM-308.0 entitled "Imminently Dangerous Structures" by providing for the installation of a fence or other protective devices and other related measures after demolition of a structure, under certain terms and conditions.
