Bill 000088-AAmending Title 17 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to the "Contracts and Procurement," by amending Chapter 17-500, entitled "Goals For The Participation Of Minority, Female And Disabled Owned Business in City Contracts" to extend the life of the Minority Business Enterprise Council ("MBEC"), grant authority to MBEC to monitor participation of minority, female, disabled owned business and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in all City contracts, City Agencies and City Quasi-Public Agencies, and to require regular reporting to City Council, all under certain terms and conditions.
