This adopted resolution authorizes the City’s Public Property Commissioner to transfer conditional ownership of 725 South Fifteenth Street, including its buildings and improvements, to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority without payment.
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia, without consideration, deeds conveying conditional fee simple title to certain City-owned lots or pieces of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in the Thirtieth Ward of the City of Philadelphia, pursuant to Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia to dispose of such properties for rehabilitation and/or improvement in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code.

This enacted ordinance approves participation by The Hospitals and Higher Education Facilities Authority of Philadelphia in financing up to $7.5 million for renovations and new operating-room and other equipment at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and affiliated facilities.
Declaring that it is desirable for the health, safety and welfare of the people in the area served by Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. (the "Hospital") and its affiliates for The Hospitals and Higher Education Facilities Authority of Philadelphia to participate with the Hospital in the refinancing or restructuring of certain outstanding indebtedness of the Hospital and its affiliates and the acquisition and construction of capital improvements to the facilities of the Hospital and its affiliates.
