Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 163 by striking from the City Plan and abandoning a portion of a certain right-of-way for drainage purposes and gas main purposes and by placing on the City Plan three (3) additional areas of right-of-way for gas main purposes in the vicinity of Ridge Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard Extension, under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted measure amended Philadelphia’s noise rules to allow the Department of Public Health, Police Department, and Department of Licenses and Inspections to issue violation tickets for noise violations in residential districts.
Amending Title 10 of the Philadelphia Code entitled "Regulation of Individual Conduct and Activity" by amending Chapter 10-400 entitled "Noise and Excessive Vibration" by adding a new Section granting to the Department of Public Health, the Police Department and the Department of Licenses and Inspections the authority to issue tickets in residential districts for violations of this Chapter, by increasing penalties for violations of this Chapter, and by making certain technical changes, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted ordinance amends the prior authorization to vacate a section of River Road extending from about 10 feet southwest of the Philadelphia-Montgomery County line northeastward to the county line.

The enacted ordinance amends Philadelphia’s sidewalk-sales rules to permit the sale of goods on the south side of West Nedro Avenue from Tenth Street east for 77 feet, in an area where sidewalk sales are otherwise prohibited.
Amending Section 9-205 of The Philadelphia Code, relating to Sidewalk Sales by restricting the prohibition of sidewalk sales on that portion of the south side of 900 West Nedro Avenue beginning, and extending east, from the south side of 1000 West Nedro Avenue for a distance of seventy-seven feet, ten feet from the curb.
