This adopted resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Property to transfer certain vacant, City-owned lots and buildings in Philadelphia to the Redevelopment Authority without payment.
Authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property to execute and deliver to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia, without consideration, deeds conveying conditional fee simple title to certain City-owned lots or pieces of ground with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate in the Forty-fourth and Sixtieth Wards of the City of Philadelphia, pursuant to Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code and authorizing the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia to dispose of such properties for rehabilitation and/or improvement in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-400 of The Philadelphia Code.

The enacted ordinance authorizes the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development to apply for up to $2.1 million in Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grants for projects involving Jewish Employment and Vocational Services, the Jewish Community Center of Philadelphia, and the Pilgrim Gardens Retirement Community.
