This lapsed bill would have amended Philadelphia’s residential parking rules to allow required parking to be reduced by 25% when at least two spaces are provided for the exclusive use of car-sharing organizations for every 100 residential units, or part of 100 units.
Amending Section 14-1402 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parking in Residential Districts," by reducing parking requirements when spaces for car sharing organizations are voluntarily provided, all under certain terms and conditions.

This lapsed bill would have amended Philadelphia’s zoning rules by removing an existing floor-area incentive for observation rooms or decks in C-4 and C-5 commercial districts.
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Section 14-102 , entitled "Definitions," by amending Section 14-305, entitled "'C-4' Commercial and 'C-5' Commercial Districts," by removing the incentive gross floor area for the installation of observation rooms or decks in these districts; by amending Section 14-312, entitled "Commercial District Rules and Exceptions for All Districts," by requiring the installation of an observation room or deck on certain newly constructed buildings of a certain height; and by making certain technical changes, all under certain terms and conditions.

This lapsed bill would have amended Philadelphia’s zoning code to define green roofs and require buildings with at least 90,000 square feet of building area to cover at least 75% of their eligible rooftop space with a green roof.
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," by amending Section 14-102, entitled "Definitions," and creating a new Section 14-114 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sustainable Zoning," to require certain buildings to have a green roof, all under certain terms and conditions.

This adopted resolution authorizes City Council’s Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs to study whether surveillance cameras could be installed in all recreational facilities.
Authorizing City Council's Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs to determine the feasibility of installing surveillance cameras in all of the recreational facilities, as a means to further enhance the safety of all persons utilizing these facilities; and as a means to fight crime and violence in these facilities.
