This enacted bill amended Philadelphia’s red-light camera rules to authorize an automated red-light enforcement system at 58th Street and Walnut Street.
Amending Chapter 12-3000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Use Of An Automated Red Light Enforcement System To Prevent Red Light Violations," by authorizing the installation of red light enforcement systems at the intersection of 58th Street at Walnut Street, and by reducing to sixty days the phase-in period during which only warnings are issued, all under certain terms and conditions.

This enacted change to Philadelphia’s residence requirements allows most City civil-service employees to be appointed without already living in Philadelphia.
Amending Section 20-101 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Residence Requirements," by providing that certain employees in the civil service need not be a bona fide resident of the City when appointed, but must establish and maintain bona fide residence in the City within six months after appointment.
