This lapsed bill would have prohibited mobile food vendors from parking or storing their vending vehicles on public streets or rights-of-way when food was not being loaded, prepared, cooked, served, or distributed from the vehicle.
Amending Chapter 6-300 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Food," by amending Section 6-301, entitled "Food Establishments," and amending Chapter 12-900 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Parking Regulations And Penalties," by amending Section 12-901, entitled "Stopping, Standing or Parking Prohibited at Certain Places", by prohibiting the parking and storage of mobile food vending vehicles on the public streets and rights-of-way whenever food is not being loaded or off-loaded, prepared, manufactured, cooked, processed, dressed, served or distributed from that vehicle, all under certain terms and conditions.

This lapsed bill would have changed Philadelphia’s Center City sidewalk-vending rules by prohibiting vending on both sides of 5th Street between Market and Chestnut Streets, and on Market Street from 4th Street to City Hall.
Amending Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code by prohibiting vending on both sides of 5th Street, from Market street to Chestnut street and on Market street, from Fourth street to Fifth street.

This lapsed bill would have amended Philadelphia’s farmers’ market rules to permit a farmers market on the sidewalk and south curb lane along the east side of Wadsworth Avenue between Bayard Street and Pickering Street.
Amending Section 9-213 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Farmers' Markets," by adding as a permissible location the East side of Wadsworth Avenue between Bayard Street and Pickering Street, all under certain terms and conditions.
