The enacted bill authorizes Philadelphia’s Commerce Department to extend the City’s use and lease agreements with airlines providing regular service at Philadelphia International Airport.
Authorizing the Director of Commerce to enter into an Extension of the Use and Lease Agreements between the City of Philadelphia and each of the airlines servicing Philadelphia International Airport, under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted bill increases the amount of interest and penalties that the Philadelphia Revenue Commissioner may waive on unpaid money or claims owed to the City or School District of Philadelphia.
Amending Section 19-1705 of The Philadelphia Code to increase the amount of interest and penalty on any unpaid money or claim collectible by the Department of Revenue that may be waived by the Revenue Commissioner, under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted ordinance waives the City’s deed-recording fees when a deed is filed to transfer or confirm property ownership for a surviving spouse or life partner after the other spouse or life partner has died.
Amending Section 10-1001 of The Philadelphia Code relating to fees charged by the Commissioner of Records by providing that certain fees imposed for the recording of deeds shall be waived with respect to a deed filed solely for the purpose of removing the name of a deceased spouse or life partner and re-titling the property in the name of the surviving spouse or life partner.

This lapsed bill would have created Philadelphia rules requiring certain employers to provide paid sick leave to eligible employees.
Enacting a new Chapter 9-3300, entitled "Promoting Healthy Families and Workplaces," to provide that certain employees are entitled to paid sick leave, all under certain terms and conditions.
