This enacted change to Philadelphia’s sidewalk-cafe rules allows sidewalk cafes on Ninth Street between Christian Street and Federal Street to occupy all or part of spaces where curb market carts may be located.
Amending Section 9-208 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Cafes," by providing that sidewalk cafes on Ninth Street, between Christian Street and Federal Street, may occupy spaces in which curb market carts may be located, under certain terms and conditions.

The enacted ordinance amended Philadelphia’s rental rules to prohibit landlords from ending or changing a tenant’s lease because the tenant is a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault.
Amending Section 9-804 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Unfair Rental Practices," by requiring that every lease provide that a landlord shall be prohibited from terminating the lease based upon a tenant's status as a domestic violence victim, and shall be required to terminate the lease upon the request of a tenant victim of domestic violence, or may bifurcate the lease if such victim requests bifurcation, all under certain terms and conditions.

Constituting the Eleventh Supplemental Ordinance to the General Gas Works Revenue Bond Ordinance of 1998 (the "1998 General Ordinance"); authorizing the City of Philadelphia (the "City") to sell, either at public or private sale, Gas Works Revenue Bonds, Tenth Series (the "Tenth Series Bonds") to pay the cost of refunding or redeeming certain outstanding Gas Works Revenue Bonds, any termination payment which may become due under a Qualified Swap Agreement in connection with the redemption or conversion of all or any portion of certain Gas Works Revenue Bonds and other Project Costs; authorizing the City to obtain credit enhancement for the Tenth Series Bonds; making certain determinations and covenants relating to Gas Works Revenues and the payment of interest and principal; and authorizing covenants and actions in order that the Tenth Series Bonds shall not be arbitrage bonds; all under certain terms and conditions.
