The enacted ordinance renames and dedicates the West Oak Lane Library at 2000 East Washington Lane as the “Dwight Evans Library of West Oak Lane.” It honors Dwight Evans, a Philadelphia educator, community activist, and public official, for his nearly five decades of service to West Oak Lane, Philadelphia, and the nation.
Renaming and designating the property commonly referred to as the West Oak Lane Library, located at 2000 East Washington Lane, as the "Dwight Evans Library of West Oak Lane" in the City of Philadelphia.
