Authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 384 by widening Southampton Road approximately twelve (12) feet on the southwestwardly side, from its intersection with The Roosevelt Boulevard to a point approximately two hundred (200) feet northwestwardly therefrom, and by placing on the City Plan such widened portion of Southampton Road, all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11-404 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 384 by:
(a) Relocating the southwesterly curb line and house line of Southampton Road approximately twelve (12) feet southwestwardly, from its intersection with The Roosevelt Boulevard to a point approximately two hundred (200) feet northwestwardly therefrom.
SECTION 2. This authorization is conditional upon compliance with the following requirements within two (2) years from the date this Ordinance becomes law:
(a) The dedication to the City, without cost and free and clear of all encumbrances, the portion of Southampton Road being widened under authority of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon confirmation by the Board of Surveyors.
