Authorizing and directing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 307 bounded by Broad Street, Race Street, Thirteenth Street and Arch Street, all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11-405 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is authorized and directed to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 307 by:
(a) Striking from the City Plan and vacating Cherry Street from Broad Street to Thirteenth Street.
(b) Striking from the City Plan and vacating Juniper Street from Arch Street to Race Street.
(c) Striking from the City Plan and vacating Watts Street from Cherry Street to Race Street.
(d) Striking from the City Plan and vacating Quarry Street from Juniper Street to Thirteenth Street.
(e) Striking from the City Plan and vacating Clarion Street from Cherry Street to Quarry Street.
SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to review and approve all instruments and documents necessary to effectuate this Ordinance, which instruments and documents shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor shall deem necessary and proper to protect the interest of the City.
SECTION 3. This authorization is conditional upon confirmation by the Board of Surveyors.
