Amending Title 22 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Public Employees Retirement Code," by amending Section 22-1303, entitled "Exemption from Attachment," by adding Local 22 Fire Political Action Committee (FIREPAC) to the list of designated payees to whom a member may direct deductions from benefits payments, all under certain terms and conditions.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Title 22 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to reads as follows:
TITLE 22. PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT CODE.

§ 22-1303. Exemption From Attachment.

(2) Designated payees. The Director of Finance is authorized, when directed in writing by any member, survivor or beneficiary, to pay from that person's benefits, such sum or sums as that person may authorize to any designated payee or representative thereof among the following organizations:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
